How can I open an Offshore Account in GIFT City?

You can open an Offshore Account in GIFT City with HDFC Bank. You can fill the Online Lead form and provide your name, mobile number and email address. An HDFC Bank representative shall get in touch with you and assist you with the account opening process. Alternately, you can visit the HDFC Bank IFSC Banking Unit (IBU) branch in GIFT City to open the account. The application form for offline application is available on GIFT City Form Centre.

Can I appoint another individual to manage my account?

Yes, you can. You can fill out the Letter of Mandate form available of the Form Centre for GIFT City on the HDFC Bank portal. The appointed individuals are authorised to take actions or give instructions to the bank to carry our transactions in your bank account on your behalf.
